Common Questions
Does my hot tub need its own circuit?
Almost always. Most 240V spas require a dedicated 50A or 60A GFCI-protected circuit with a disconnect within sight of the tub — not an extension from an existing outdoor outlet.
Do I need a permit for hot tub wiring?
Yes, in nearly every township we serve. We pull the permit and handle the inspection as part of the job.
Will my current panel handle a hot tub?
We do a load calculation before quoting. If the panel is full or undersized, we'll price a sub-panel or service upgrade alongside the spa circuit.
Can you run power to a tub far from the house?
Yes. We trench and run underground conduit to the pad, including for detached patios, pool houses, and back-corner installs.
