Common Questions
Can lighting controls be added to an existing house?
Yes. Wireless systems like Lutron Caseta and RA2 Select retrofit into existing boxes with no new wiring in most rooms. Wired keypad systems are best during a remodel.
Why do my LED lights buzz or flicker when dimmed?
Almost always a dimmer/driver mismatch or an underloaded circuit. We test the fixture and driver combination and install a compatible dimmer instead of trial and error.
Do you program the scenes or is that on me?
We program them with you — scene levels, fade times, keypad button engraving, and sunrise/sunset schedules — then walk the household through it.
Can shades be controlled with the lights?
Yes. We wire and integrate motorized shades onto the same keypads and app so a single scene handles lighting and shades together.
